By Hook or By Schnook is the thirty-first episode of Season 1 of Bunsen Is a Beast, which premiered on December 19, 2017 on Nicktoons.[1]
Synopsis[]
Amanda sends Mikey and Bunsen on a bogus treasure hunt by giving them a fake map to Captain Schnook's Booty.

- The episode's title is a pun on the phrase "by hook or by crook".
- The episode was leaked by the Nickelodeon artist Benji Williams in his blog post displaying some of the title cards he created for Bunsen Is a Beast.[3]
- This is the first and only episode in the series to have an on-screen death. Prospector Pat passed away due to being crushed by boulders.
